Sunday evening the 24th of September the Cuban embassy in the US was attacked woensdag two molotov cocktails were thrown at the embassy. Luckily no one was harmed. The embassy had also been the victim of an attack as recent as 2020, when the building was shot at by an automatic rifle. The NCPN stands in solidarity to our Cuban comrades and calls for a criminal investigation to bring the attacker to justice.
The attack happened several hours after Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel left the country, where he was visiting the United Nations to call for an end to the inhumane blockade the US have been employing since 1962 to make the Cuban people suffer. For decades the people have been suffering economic warfare. Through these means the capitalist United States hope to stir up the people against their government without succes.
Anti-Cuban groups don’t get much pushback from the US authorities and law enforcement. This is why the NCPN calls for a serious criminal investigation and solidarity with the Cuban people.
